Mindful Play Date
10:00 am - 12:00pm
“Do we stop playing because we grow old or do we grow old because we stop playing?” This quote from the movie TAG, 2018 (a film about five friends who have been in a thirty year long game of tag), is an important question for all of us who eventually lost sight of our inner child and will lead our experience together.
With this in mind we invite you for the first of a series of workshops called Mindful Play Date - Grown Ups Only where you’ll be encouraged to play along with creativity and yoga and connect and embrace your inner child in a safe environment.
There is no right or wrong, no art skills or yoga experience requested. Just you and the wish to play freely.
All the art supplies are included in the price but feel free to bring with you your own materials. You will need a yoga mat or a towel.
In case of rain, the workshop will happen at zenw2 studio, in Willesden Green.
The facilitators will be Carina Bidese, a Yoga Teacher and Life Coach, and Francine Desoux an artist and life explorer.

In the system of Ashtanga Yoga, the breath becomes the key to the focusing and the quietening of the mind. The practice moves through a set series of postures called the primary series. Through the 4 weeks, you will discover the pattern of vinyasa, which translated means movement breathe synchronisation which makes this yoga practice truly dynamic. We will discover the traditional variation of the Sun Salutations and explore the first half of the primary series which will challenge the mind and the body to stay at ease with grace and strength. After week four, you should find your body limbering up and your breath becoming more fluid as well as the mind more steady.
