Autumn is a time of transition from summer to winter, from lightness to dark. In this retreat, we invite you to meet yourself where you are, and with an open heart,  prepare yourself for the season ahead. We will spend our days practising:

- journalling

- silent reflection

Shakti means power, energy, or force. Mythologically, Shakti is always described as feminine, often personified as the goddess, Devi, the divine feminine consort of the divine masculine god Shiva. But at the deepest level, Shakti transcends gender. This feminine principle sustains life in all its forms and levels, and also governs our spiritual evolution. With adequate practice and understanding of this forces, both women and men can transcend limitations and manifest its talents and personal power, which can lead one to self-realisation.

 

The Circle of Feminine Deities reveals the universe functioning and our psyche, and this retreat aims to immerse ourselves into these worlds. Once the veil of illusion is pulled back, we can understand the deeper truths of life, which are hidden behind our attachment to the forms.

In this 1-day retreat for women, expect healing yoga, yoga philosophy, invocational chanting, withdrawal of senses, meditation, nourishing food, and a transformational day. 

 

This yoga retreat day will enable you to slow down, face your limitations, re-connect to your wisdom and empower the perfect being you are.

Join us for a midwife-led Baby Massage Course with the wonderful Kirsty, founder of Mamas Rock
 

Learning Baby Massage is a gentle and loving way to relax and communicate with your baby. It has been used for centuries in many cultures as a way to promote health and wellbeing. Baby massage can also help promote the bond between you and your baby and provide some special time for you to spend together.

Throughout the 4 week course you will learn a whole repertoire of strokes for the entire body that you can practice at home and a true skill for life.

Benefits of Baby Massage include:

  • Aiding digestion, helping with discomfort of colic, wind & teething symptoms

  • Stimulating baby nervous system

  • Supporting all systems of the body

  • Relaxing and aiding with sleep

  • Improvement of parents sense of well being through positive interaction

January is just around the corner and it's time to envision 2022! Have you ever made a vision board? The idea is to create a visual image of your dreams and aspirations for the upcoming year. However, instead of having a board stuck in the back of your cupboard, we'll be making a notebook cover so you can carry your plans with you wherever you go! 

 

The workshop will start with a yoga practice to connect and embrace yourself and your dreams, followed by a DIY collage-drawing-painting notebook cover.

 

More than ever, there is no right or wrong, no art skills or yoga experience required: just you and the wish to play freely and embrace the 2022 of your dreams.

 

All the art supplies are included in the price but feel free to bring your own materials.

Lack of sleep causes many problems ranging from minor health issues to even chronic illnesses, depression and anxiety. 

 

Aditi will also discuss Gut health and how improving Gut health helps you to start sleeping well.

Women's Sharing Circle

Empower and support yourself this Autumn by joining this Women's Sharing Circle, hosted by Sally Turberville Smith, an experienced BACP and UKCP accredited individual and couples therapist.

 

There will no set format for the meetings and all ages are welcome. Topics we might explore together include:

 

  • Relationships and sexuality

  • Balancing masculine and feminine energies

  • Creativity and honouring a deeper more sacred view of life as an interconnected whole

 

This Group is for you if: 

  • You want to understand yourself better, work on your self-esteem and improve your interpersonal relationships. 

  • Are going through a significant life change such as motherhood or the menopause. 

  • Have experienced a loss or relationship breakdown. 

  • Your life is changing due to illness or a challenging situation in your family.

 

Physical, mental/emotional and spiritual health are interconnected and in the women's circles we will also explore how best we are able to live in harmony with ourselves, one another and mother earth.

A 4-week introductory course for those who are new to yoga. Learn the fundamentals of yoga, establishing a strong and safe foundation from which you can confidently develop your practice. Trish will guide you through at a gentle pace ensuring you feel comfortable and supported at all times. Suitable for all.

 

This is a gentle, slower-paced class intended for those new to yoga or perhaps returning after a long period of no practice with plenty of demonstrations, detailed instructions and variations, focusing on yoga foundations.

Rebirthing Breath work and Sound Healing Journey 

Sunday 7 November   14:00 - 17:00

Kasia will open the space. The Rebirthing session will last around 1 hour. Sometimes breathing is done via the nose, sometimes via the mouth - depending on the group needs and energy. Rebirthing is a simple yet powerful breathing technique, relaxing and healing on all levels. It is very safe. Participants will lie on the mats. Each person will be supported to move through whatever will be released and felt during breathing. 

Within our breath we have encoded patterns which keep repeating  themselves in our life and through conscious, connected breathing we can have impact on them saying goodbye to those which don’t  serve us any more and saying hello to the new ones  which are more desirable. Truth, Simplicity and Love are the key elements of Rebirthing.

 

Michael will open the sound healing space and begin with a medicine drum journey, move to singing bowls, take you into an intensely clearing gong healing, returning you back to the earth and your body with drone the drone flute. He will also be using other sound tools at his disposal intuitively during the journey as needed.

There will be a voluntary sharing session at the end of each session to check in with everyone.

 

The session will last approximately 2.5 hours. Please be punctual to avoid  disruption for other attendees.

Rebirthing Breath work and Sound Healing Journey 

26 September   15:00 - 18:00

Niloufar will open the space and begin the breath work session. Conscious connected breathing, also known as Rebirthing, is a simple yet powerful breathing technique. It addresses negative conscious and sub-conscious patterns and beliefs by bringing them to the surface, for healing, awareness, integration and acceptance. 

Participants will lie down on mats in a circle and together we will start conscious connected breathing through the mouth and enter into a journey of sound and breath. Niloufar will guide the breathing journey and support each individual to move through the challenging experiences. By opening up areas of blockage, or stuckness in the breath and thus the body, we can access much deeper sources of joy, power, love and clarity.

Michael will open the sound healing space and begin with a medicine drum journey, taking you into an intensely clearing gong healing, returning you back to the earth and your body with the drone flute. He will also be using other sound tools at his disposal intuitively during the journey as needed.

A 4-week introductory course for those who are new to Pilates. Learn the fundamentals of pilates, establishing a strong and safe foundation from which you can confidently develop your practice. Taught by the lovely Josie - an experienced Pilates teacher and Personal Trainer whose classes are accessible, relaxed and fun! The classes will move at a pace that suits all the participants, with plenty of modifications, demonstrations and clear instructions to ensure everyone feels comfortable and can enjoy their Pilates.

You will engage with some of the most thought-provoking and practical exercises from the science of happiness, and discover how to apply these research-backed insights to your own wellbeing.

Keitlin is a Certified Human Potential Coach (CHPC) and is passionate about helping highly motivated women navigate and raise their game in life, take charge of their holistic wellbeing and reach their full potential.

How do I book? You can book the same way you'd book any other class. Please do book online so we know who to expect.

Guided art workshop with live meditative soundscape

Sunday 28 November   14:00 - 16:00

Zenw2 Studio

Aurelie and Michael will begin with a short demonstration to guide you into the meditative state.

 

After a warm up exercise to encourage you to flow freely with your art making, Aurelie will guide students to draw and paint freely in dialogue with the sound – this creative and meditative experience aims at exploring how the sound influences the artworks created live. She will help you to respond to the music in a visual way and to play with colours, shapes and textures. 

 

Michael will provide a continuous soundscape incorporating electronic elements as well as traditional sound healing instruments like singing bowls, shruti box, gong, flute, koshi chimes, medicine drum and more!

 

Through the interactions between Michael’s flow sound and Aurelie’s mindful art, you will be discovering new ways to transform your emotions and inner thoughts visually.

 

There are no rules – just the expression of your own visions. 

All the art supplies are included in the price but feel free to bring your own materials.

For the third edition we’ll be practicing a few exercises well known by artists as ways to release creativity! Paint, crayons, markers, pens, coloured pencils and paper will be our media to explore authenticity and access our creative power.

All the art supplies are included in the price but feel free to bring with you your own materials. 

You will need a fabric to customise and a yoga mat or a towel. 

In case of rain, the workshop will happen at zenw2 studio, in Willesden Green.
